Featured Costumes

"Who are you supposed to be?" is probably the most common question you'll be asked when you're in costume. Some costumes are worn for comedy, some for recognition, and some for adventure. The last of these is what I like to explore the most-- the originality of portraying characters who seem familiar but we have yet to meet them.

As with all of my designs, I like to play with texture, often working with smaller pieces to build a larger work. I save most of the scraps, including fabric and thread, and try to use as much as possible in the current design or for some future use. I find that this use of leftover materials often leads to the enhancement of texture on the garment.
